The most effective killer of home values is having a noisy crowded airport near your home. think, John Wayne & Lindbergh field and what it done to those areas. we simply do not need a bigger airport.

These planes need to climb to a higher altitude before turning over our homes! I've lived here 18 years. It's gotten so bad (the noise) we will move after I retire.

I work on Rutherford Rd near the airport and I live off College in Calavera Hills. We are constantly buzzed by approaching aircraft. The jets are especially blood and annoying. keep the airport usage as it is. I went to a hearing meeting a couple of years ago and was appalled that most of the people that were allowed to speak were employees at the airport.

Let’s keep our beautiful north county neighborhoods free from jet fuel pollution. Jet fuel = carcinogens in the air and in us! I already find oil slick on my fish ponds. Not good!

I agree with all the bullet points in the petition and we should keep McClellan-Palomar Airport's status as a small aviation airport.

Please, no airport expansion! It will detrimentally impact the quality of life for residents and workers in Carlsbad. I know from experience living through the John Wayne Airport expansion.
