Saturday night, October 18th, 2009 a young man was repeatedly dragged, punched, kicked, and beaten unconscious by the bouncers at the Oxygen Night Club and left in the middle of the street. His friends were being restrained while other bouncers beat him until he was nearly unrecognizable. He is left with a battered body and broken bones in his face, a fractured skull and nose and must sleep sitting up for six weeks because of the pressure in his head. He is also at risk of plastic surgery. These horror stories are REAL and all too common. Bouncers are to restrain people CALMLY and to use REASONABLE FORCE to get situations under control. There is absolutely NO REASON why this young man or ANY person at a bar should be beat this way no matter if they were in the wrong or not. This is a plea to all of you to help us stop this unnecessary violence before someone is killed. It takes only one punch or kick to end someone's life. The bouncers at the Oxygen Night Club have gone way too far way too many times. It's time we all come together and help put them to a stop before someone's life is taken away from them. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's brother, boyfriend, husband, friend or son.
