A report by the Local Data Company shows that 27.2 per cent of shops in Margate town centre are now standing empty. Margate high street cannot afford to lose any more large retailers to Westwood cross before the completion of Dreamland and the Turner contemporary. If they do, Margate will close there will be no visitors to see our stunning beach and sunsets, or create employment. Please act now and sign our petition and save our town.
