The undersigned citizens of Hamilton and surrounding area, (or employees of city establishments) do hereby petition City Council to stop the fluoridation of our drinking water supply, which is counterproductive because any fluoride ingested increases the severity of dental fluorosis and also worsens certain medical situations (eg. osteoporosis, thyroid & kidney problem and baby & birthing issues, etc.). The city should continue to address oral health through it's existing dental programs such as the Public Health Services Dental Clinic, CINOT, etc., in order to encourage proper care and brushing. Proper brushing addresses the intended dental purpose better than fluoridation, without impacting the health or preferences of other water users, or adding to the fluoride burden on the environment.

My hands are tied has to how to deal with forcefully being poisoned. Please take our comments seriously and do your own research.
Please stop putting fluoride in the water - I have to buy filters to get it out and would love to save that money instead.
Fluoride has been proven to b harmful. Shouldnt b in tap water that we and our children drink.
I too have read much about the efects of fluoride, and more importantly experienced its harmful effects on my own mind when unable to deal with its presence in my water. Nobody should have to put in extra effort just to make sure their water is safe to drink, especially when so few know what's in it to begin with.
I have done extensive research on flouride, and have witnessed the dumbing down of mymself from it first hand - for gods sake ISRAEL just banned flouride, most of europe did and australia. It is a toxic waste byproduct - it does not help your teeth - proper dental practices help your teeth. Stop lying and take the control mechanism out of our water. It is the only "medicinal" toxin put into water and even if dentists were correct, it would only work TOPICALLY on the teeth, and not swallowed. It has been proven to destroy the pineal gland. STOP POISONING US!

It is true flouride is a poison to us, and if there's effort in denying it, what's the point in that? We are here to iodize our world, not reverse it's evolution!

Simple STOP putting poisons in our drinking water that we pay for. That excuse that it meets the guidelines an is safe doesn’t flow anymore. Find somewhere else to dump your chemicals safely. Are companies really the power that controls what we consume or are we?
