WE the undersigned residents in the Marlborough area:
1. Advise the Marlborough District Council that we do not want fluoride added to our drinking water.
2. Remind the Marlborough District Council that its duty is to the communities it serves, not to Central Government policy.
3. Call on the Marlborough District Council to request the Minister of Health to initiate a moratorium and an independent public inquiry on water fluoridation.

We have great water, a blanket approach for all in response to one community’s needs is just stupid and costly! The result will be more pressure on our already struggling health system!! But it’s ok, because, when I develop memory loss and skin issues, I won’t have a brain that works to remember this point in time….
Just no, dont mass medicate the water supply. You'll end up giving it to babies who are bottle fed and youre removing any choice that people have in ingesting it or not
I object to the mandated addition of fluoride, of a dangerous neurotoxin, to our drinking water. This mass medication is without any informed consent from the public.
Fluoride is a toxic by product of the fertiliser industry, sugar is the major cause of tooth decay! So why not put all these resources into helping reduce sugary options for kids, and support young families to be able to eat healthy and less sugary processed foods and drinks! We are not going to stop cavities in teeth unless we address the issue with SUGAR.
In light of the new evidence on the risks to the developing brain it is vital that we have this independent enquiry.
