TODAY The Daily Telegraph launches a campaign to have the absurd new fines-for-crimes system axed.
Under the system, criminals who previously would have faced court may instead receive an on-the-spot fine, as though guilty of nothing more than a traffic offence.
We believe the scheme is an absolute boon for lowlifes prepared to repeatedly chance it against the relatively low risk of a three-figure fine.
If you agree than the system should be dumped, join our campaign by signing this petition.
Together we can force Morris Iemma into realising that NSW doesn\'t want this ridiculous scheme.
Thank you for your support.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you have stepped up to reject this fines for crimes system. If we can reach one hundred signatures today it will show the authorities that we are not going to be quiet about this. Please consider sending this link to a few people who might want to help us push this over the line.
