On or about July 2,2004, government property, and on duty police officers were used in a political commercial promoting the reelection of Judge George Greer to the office of Sixth Judicial Circuit Court, Pinellas County, Florida.
Whereas, the political commercial was aired on television between August 9, 2004 and August 30, 2004.
Whereas this matter involves: Abuse of the pubic trust (Art. II, Section 8(a) Florida Constitution, breach of the public trust for private gain and inducing others to breach the public trust for private gain (Art. II, Section 5, Florida Constitution) violations of Florida
The steady growth of this petition signifies a growing collective concern regarding the integrity of our public offices. This momentum indicates that the community expects rigorous accountability from those who serve in positions of trust.
