Arrest Mayor Charlie Hales of Portland, Oregon for Abuse of Power
Whereas Mayor Hales falsely reported a riot to the Portland police, to illegally ban public assembly at City Hall to discuss the police contract on 10/12/16, he must be arrested for falsifying a police report and abuse of power.
The video evidence of the lawful assembly at City Hall and even police testimony of merely a thrown object--nothing even close to resembling a riot--and the testimony of everyone there agrees to the fact there was no riot; yet Charlie Hales deployed riot police anyway--because he is medically unfit or otherwise criminally ambitious for his office.
Especially, the Jessie Sponberg video evidence of the protest against Mayor Hales, Commissioner Fritz and Commissioner Fish's apparent medical incompetence for evidence of their fear centered thinking to rush into effect a new police contract--irrational as city councilors refusing to hear public testimony regarding it's own security--records much of the entire event.

There was no riot and there is no crisis shortage of police. Instead the problem is with Mayor Charlie Hales and other citizens of making false police reports to unlawfully enforce their deviant prejudice against people, and then going unpunished for it.
No more false reporting crimes to bolster one's power within a community! No more medically unfit "business leaders" with white privilege to criminally organize as city government in Portland! Arrest Mayor Hales!

Charlie Hales thinks he can lie to the police to shut down dissent and just walk away like nothing happened. I am tired of the silence from City Hall so I am forcing them to look at the evidence of their own corruption every single day.

Black Lives Matter and Don t Shoot Portland are heart-centered movements led by patriots who deserve their rights to free speech and assembly as much as any other Americans. Mayor Hales's actions are deplorable and cowardly. He need only examine his own assumptions for the enemy of his progress. The more fearful he behaves in response to peaceful protestations of the public the more racist he appears.
Charlie Hales used his power to pepper spray and arrest peaceful protestors to hide back room deals. It's time for you to go
We will not rest until you resign! We won't forgive what you had the police do! We were peaceful until our 1st amendment was violated!
Charlie has undermined the livability of Portland, marginalized the voices of the people, and thinks its ok to use the police to terrorize community leaders. He deserves to be in prison.
There is no reason to rush into signing that policy that quickly. Only a conflict of interest would expedite this law behind the scenes with such exclusion of public input.

Hales invited testimony, then shut it out. Then he sent cops after the people he'd invited in. I saw abuse, officiousness, and violations of the 1st amendment with my own eyes. Mayor Hales must be held accountable.
