This would be a huge mistake. Keep our options open, for our kids! Charter schools hold more core values and have less kids for those who having trouble learning!

Vehemently opposed to the elimination of charter schools! My child benefits from the education provided and frankly I don't have a lot of trust and faith in public schools and their politically swayed bends.

Charter Schools are needed and excell at the instruction they provide. Closing all public charter schools would not only harm students who utilize these schools, but would cause in some cases overcrowding, loss of educational benefits, etc. I feel closing charters is more harmful than any benefit they claim schools will receive.

We need Charter Schools.

Please stop this petition on charter schools you cannot take away the only hope these parents have left for positive future for all these parents and students. They deserve better. Public schools aren't cutting it and the education isn't there too many tests not enough teaching. Get back to basics

I know of many families that homeschool through charter schools. Charter schools are a viable alternative to the public school system. They should be able to continue.

I have a right to educate my child however I see fit. This is just more WHO agenda crap. No thanks.

Charter schools offer a different teaching style/philosophy to my kids who have been raised to be independent thinkers and love the outdoors! The Montessori charter they attend is representative of the community because it gives weighted entries into their lottery for people within their zoning. It is a low-income area and the public schools only offer basic instruction, with NO extra cirricular learning. Since we cannot afford private schools, this charter gives my children an amazing chance to learn in the way they need to in order to be successful in their school careers. My children are both far ahead of the grade level they would be in if they were to switch to a public school style curriculum, because of they way that the Montessori philosophy allows children to explore and learn. The problem with charter schools is not that they are taking money away from local public schools, the problem is that administrators are very worried about the general state of our public school system and aregrasping at straws for a solution! Work together to achieve a greater good for our children and stop attacking and blaming what might be the answer to many issues in the current system.

So grateful for our awesome charter schools. It makes no sense to institutionalise the educational system by taking out this option.

Public school is mired in backward antiquated power structures that are beholden to everyone but the children they serve. I want no part of that. This is why I choose charter schools. Freedom to think inspired to lead.
