The congestion in the mornings and evening is already bad. To add multi family homes and apartments would triple the traffic. It’s already difficult to get on to Main St. from a street without traffic lights.

I don't think we are ready for this . Why don't we improve what we already have . There are very few sidewalks and safe ways to ride a bike to local businesses .

The traffic congestion in the area is already terrible. More homes will cause this to get worse. What is wrong with having preserved true God created green space.

This is not East Nashville. Peninsula residents do not want this. My family still living on the peninsula where I was born and raised does not want this. As a county, we cannot afford the negative impact from this.

I am opposed to anymore high density building on or around the peninsula of Hendersonville. I live on the peninsula and without proper infrastructure growth this project with only cause more traffic issues than it is worth. Hendersonville is not Nashville.

No more high density housing in this area! Traffic is already bad enough and we currently don't have the infrastructure to deal with it!

There is lots of retail/office space/housing in the plan but very little green area. And, what is marked on the map is called "flex" which means it could be developed in the future. Has anyone been to Indian Lake center lately. Many of the businesses have closed. Also true in other areas of Hendersonville. Instead of new development, I think focusing on redevelopment including an upgrade to streets in the area, utilities, and repurposing existing empty buildings. It likely won't have space for multi-dwelling apartments/condos but we already have plenty of those. I live next to one and it is a nightmare because it is section 8 housing. I would not have bought in Hendersonville if I knew that BOMA does what it wants regardless of what the residents want. Going down Main St is like being in a parade. Long lines of cars and lights that are not synchronized for traffic flow. Let's work on the issues we have before we start new construction. Personally, I believe no new development should be allowed unless the builder sets aside the funds in advance to manage the infrastructure upgrades their project will require in advance of any project being approved. I think if you looked a little harder you may find existing spaces that could be turned into mix use and made walkable. Retail on bottom / condos above / garages below / greenways or parks or streets that allow only pedestrians. Boise, Idaho completely re-did their downtown and it is such a family friendly place. I move there but the winters and summers are brutal. It's beautiful in the spring or fall. In addition, this is too large of a development plan to be approved at one time.

I'm against any building of high density apartments or condos in the City of Hendersonville. I am not against a face list for the buildings on Main Street.

The turn lane to turn left onto Sanders Ferry already routinely backs up across the bridge, preventing any oncoming traffic from turning left onto Clearview Circle. I have sat through 4 lights just trying to get back on the peninsula. The area simply can’t sustain this much extra volume.
