I am opposed to proposed mass developments throughout north essex also. Eg. towerlands in braintree, Sailing etc.

I enjoy the surrounding countryside, the a120 gets crammed in rush hour bad enough as it is!

living off the old London rd marks tey getting out of our road takes along time and is very dangerous. I have had a car accident coming out of this road if you build these house the A120 wont cope with the amount of traffic. Also its a shame that the countryside will be spoilt

A120 gridlocked now, trains full, no GPs, no dentist, hospital & medical centre overloaded, A & E proposed closure, schools full, air pollution getting worse, quality of life & health care in jepody.

Potential urban sprawl will place greater pressure on the existing infrastructure e.g. A12/120 London Road and rail links. It will negatively impact on the lives of people across a wide area and make access to health care and education more difficult in the short term.

Insufficient infrasturcture to boos areas population, Planning have no control over rail companies so not even possible to build a new train station near to development to save on road traffic , as rail company will not change their timetable to include extra stops, look at Great Cornard Halt that never happened on the sudbury line for these reasons

A development of this size is totally unnecessary and not sustainable. The existing road, rail , industry and health service infrastructure is already overloaded and MUST all be upgraded before ANY more houses are built.
This development will only benefit a few local land owners to the detriment of everyone else, therefore must be opposed.

The main routes through my village of Great Tey are already used by domestic and commercial traffic which tries to by pass the overloaded A120. What will it be like with all this development? Not to mention the strain on our existing services.

It is beyond belief that so many houses could be built. The roads can't cope now, the doctors surgeries are full, as are the schools. The trains have reached capacity to London and no more carriages can be put on as the stations are not long enough.

apart from the obvious re infrastructure ( roads, schools, amenities already overwhelmed) where are people who need hospital care supposed to go because Colchester hospital cannot cope now?
