This just cannot be approved and is totally senseless. New homes are needed but where the infrastructure, local roads, schools, hospitals and rail services can cope with the extra burden. Marks Tey and surrounding area simply cannot accommodate these new homes. Utter madness.

The roads already cannot deal with the volume of traffic passing through, and I do not want to see a paved paradise everywhere I look!!! Stop destroying our beautiful countryside and overwhelming our population. We live where we live because it is beautiful and we want to get away from the busy hubbubs of the urban populations!

We moved out of London and chose this area because it wasn't built up. We love the place but for how much longer? It will just become another urban sprawl with jam packed roads, overcrowded schools, hospitals, doctors surgeries etc. Why build so people are on top of one another? It causes friction!

We chose to move here years ago for the peace and quiet, quaint surroundings and lovely countryside. We have no wish to have this ruined or become a suburb of a town the size of Bury St Edmunds, we escaped that way of living and have no desire to return to it.

This is a monstrosity dreamed up by landowners and councils with little thought of the impact on people and the environment (both natural and social). It will be a large sprawling estate of commuters, we all know that infrastructure promises will not be kept and builders will ensure the cheapest standards will be maintained to up profits. It doesn't directly affect me, but it seems to have no value to anyone except a few landowners who will be ecstatic with the enormous increase to their bank balances (whilst many others will see their homes and lives blighted), builders and councillors who can tick another box on their list of things to do - I wonder how many backhanders have been received to make sure this goes ahead...

There is totally inadequate road and rail infrastructure to build so many houses here. It will become a dormitory town as there is inadequate work in the area.

This development is not necessary and benefit only the land owners that are pushing it. If it goes ahead it will be detrimental to all of North Essex as the infrastructure will not cope, in fact it is not coping now.
