The area is already overcrowded with no seats on the trains and the A120 frequently at a standstill. And stop destroying our countryside.

The scale of this development will completely overwhelm the surrounding infrastructure and population. The roads, trains, parking will become gridlocked. The rail services are struggling at current capacity. The countryside and local villages will be ruined.

This is an extreme over development without providing any infrastructure changes to cope with the huge influx that this development will bring.

Although new homes are needed there isn't the infrastructure to support the additional population and it's an awful destruction of farmland.

I prefer the countryside to some gruby, cheap housing scheme that will give our area a crime rating and spoil our views.

The roads and rail are already stretched and main facilities in Colchester are failing with NHS. Colchester has expanded so much over the last 20yrs there must be other parts of the county better suited

Dont destroy this village and cou tryside.The road a120 cant cope withthe traffice now let alone with an extra 20000 new households. Also doctors and local schools are at capacity now.

this area is over developed and overcrowded as it is ..far too much greenbelt and farmland being lost, none of it benefiting local people!!...

We moved here last year from Harlow, a busy town to a quieter location. This news has really unsettled us & if it was to be we would look at moving again which is such a shame as our children are now settled here! The A120 is already congested & schooling & doctors are stretched so not sure how this amount of housing & extra people could even be possible!! Very upsetting to hear this & although we live in Copford this would still affect us hugely!

I live in one of the "New" estates which was solely for local people in which I live in an episode of eastenders everyday!!! Worst thing for the village in my opinion.
