This development will damage the landscape of north Essex while creating problems that the developers will be unable to solve. Having viewed a similar though smaller scale brownfield development in Peterborough, it is difficult to place trust in the developers to produce a township even remotely like the ones in their pretty but wishful thinking watercolours. I whole heatedly condemn this proposed development and the premise given for proposing it.

I absolutely disagree with the scale of this proposed development.

This will purely add to commuting chaos. The area does not have the jobs it infrastructure to support this. People will be forced to commute to London for work.

Monstrous idea-totally ill thought out proposal-money making scheme for landowners, developers & local government with no consideration for the local people or environment.

The roads won't cope, the schools won't cope, the local gp surgeries won't cope, the local hospitals definitely won't cope - lets fights this, otherwise there's no going back!

Over development will cause chaos on the roads with more and more cars in the area.

This is overdevelopment. The roads around the area are extremely busy now, there will be total gridlock if this goes ahead.

Absolute madness...Colchester cannot even handle the cars from the houses that have just been built theres still more houses going up.On a Monday takes an hr to travel a 20 min journey.Marks Tey will not be able to cope with the extra cars...Here's an idea...how about use all the old building, factories that have been laying dormant for years because of greedy councils upping the rates so businesses shut down..once there full then look at building new houses...London prime example old buildings falling down...let's leave them and build on our beautiful country side

Consider the people that live here. The people that chose to live in a semi-rural location. The roads will not cope - they already don't! Look at the death toll on the a120 from Braintree to Colchester and see how high it already is! We need less people, not more. Don't take away the farmland

Once they have the infrastructure then I welcome them to build wherever they want, but not the way it is at the moment.

Being bulldozed through the planning. Sorry, what planning ?

This scheme is unsustainable by the local infrastructure and even if the A120 was widened, 40,000 more cars would fill it.
