The infrastructure needs to be seriously upgraded to support such a development before it could be considered. new A120, increased rail links at the very least.

If this is really NEEDED, then all the building should only be allowed on a NON-PROFIT basis by the developers, or on a 50/50 split with the EXISTING RESIDENTS of Marks Tey. Lets see them put their money where their glib promises are.

Why use farmland and greenfield sights to build homes when there are so many downfield sights lying dormant - just one example: a large, previously industrial, plot in Silver End has been lying undeveloped to years. The area as proposed here simply couldn't sustain this development. At the moment, the A120 in unable to cope, with queues of traffic often stretching back from the Marks Tey roundabout to way beyond Poplar Nurseries

Great! Let's creative thousands of unsuitable homes and at same time make all the people who already live there unsuitable homes too! And we can make the money grabbing land owners even richer, so that they can move elsewhere!

Marks Tey,coggeshall, Kelvedon , villages that struggle with traffic flow , schooling, health services already none of these villages have the infrastructure to cope . And our railway stations !!!! Don't even get me started.

As a lorry driver I can tell you the roads are already choked, if you build 20,000 new homes that will be at least another 40,000 vehicles in this area. I'm not a NIMBY but this scheme is just over the top.

The council need to pull there heads out of the sand and realise this would have costly consequences and not just in the monetary value.

Coggeshall can't cope with the expansion now, the Dr's is full and not taking on any more patients, the schools are full to bursting. How about thinking about the people that live here instead of profit??
