There are no facilities or infrastructure to support this level of building. Marks Tey train station is already struggling to support the current numbers of commuters and the A120 certainly can't take any more traffic. This is madness.

We have enough trouble getting on to the 120 now without all the extra traffic. Also have they thought through the amount of people using the facilities I wonder. Every form of transport will be inundated. The thought of it is worrying never mind the building of it all-

Not properly thought out. Inadequate roads, Education and Health facilities. Increase in commuters which will over load our local train station

The Roads , Hospitals , Schools carparks , Walk in centre , cant cope now, If its extra extra homes that have to be built do what the rest of the developed world has done for years , Build up not out ward, Can you imagine what the USA , China , and the rest of the world would be like if every country built like we did? no room , no fields no crops , no FOOD .

The infrastructure can not cope at the minute let alone with all additional people and cars! Plus there adding more and more people to the community yet the Police are getting few and fewer! When do they draw the line?

It is obvious to anyone with eyes to see that this area doesnt have the infrastructure to accommodate the massive population this plan would bring.Our one fully open Hospital is under massive pressure, yet they want to shut the Essex County to build yet more flats. The roads, especially the A120 along which Gateway 120 want to place another 20,000 houses cant cope with the traffic it carries now, yet they wish to add another 30,00 cars, plus builders lorries to that mess. Despite all the talk about wanting to build homes for people, their one and only concern is lining their own pockets, and screw the local people.

A development of this scale should really be subject to significant public debate, especially given the traffic impacts on the A120, engulfment of historic villages such as Coggeshall and loss of high quality arable farmland. Development should be spread across Colchester and not a rigid either or approach applied to the east or west.
