Considering how densely populated Essex already is, it is hard too see how such a large number of new homes could be sustainable.

The roads can not take any more traffic in Marks tey.
20,000 new homes is just crazy
This is all just greed from the developers and I bet us people who live here in Marks Tey get no compensation or have very little say on the outcome.
Hmmmm I wonder how many brown envelopes will or have changed hands for this.

I libel in Marks Tey and enjoy the semi rural position. These 20.000 homes are inappropriate as the infrastructure will not sustain the ammount of new people requiring travel, schools. Health, ect. Also nearby Stanway has new developments that causes queues on the A12 which is dangerous, and this will be the same

Colchester Hospital, The A120, Marks Tey station cant cope at the moment let alone have 50,000 more people and 30,000 more cars in the area.

Yes I actually live in Langley green . And I fail to see how this development will not adversely affect the already congested a120 corridor . I understand the landowners wishing to sell of their land for a premium price ! But to dress this whole scheme as helping our community and adding to the economic welfare of our area is wrong . It's all about the landowners and house builders making money !

Size matters - and this is a ludicrous amount of houses, for the existing infrastructure in the area.
The single lane A120 is already inadequate.

This is ludicrous, the infrastructure of roads and train services are stretched at present with constant delays on the roads most days and bus services unable to keep their time schedules. We will lose precious farmland and countryside will be lost forever. This mustn't go anead

It is not okay for councils to turn villages into huge towns. I live in a village because I was raised and want to live in a village, I want to live in a small community not some urban sprawl.

I thought this Government promised to be the greenest. There is nothing green about this. I am from Kelvedon and I do not want to live in a city which is what Essex will become. What about infrastucture, jobs, waste? What will happen to that? We won't be able to cope.
