The a120 is bad enough with accidents etc. Having more cars will just create more problems!

local roads not built for such massive building project. Firstly the A12 needs to be widened and A120 declassified to stop heavy goods passing through Marks Tey. The only beneficiaries would be the landowners.

How are commuters going to get to work when not all the trains stop at Marks Tey not to mention not enough buses. I grew up in a near by village and would hate to see the local area destroyed by houses that one are not needed, there are plenty of current houses available and two that probably would be pokey and have barely any garden/ green space around them. This is purely ridiculous!

The local infrastructure could not cope with so many new houses. The builders will promise new facilities, roads etc but these won't be prepared in advance and chaos will ensue as the A120 can't cope now; there aren't enough doctors to get an appointment now so how will the surgeries cope with an influx of 20,000 more households, and what about schools, hospitals and local policing. No, the plans must be modified to take into account the rural location and the current resources.

Expanding marks tey will ruin the country side living of which we moved to the area for and we will gain even more traffic of which the main road cannot handle.

Moved to Marks Tey from London because it was a small town. If I wanted to live in a large town I would have moved to one.

The local roads will get too busy to accommodate 20,000, the majority are more than likely to commute through Kelvedon for the trains and A12

This plan is ill conceived and the lives of local people will be disrupted for many years, probably forever. The A120 cant deal with the traffic flow it carries now, so adding a further 20,000 with maybe 40,000 cars will successfully choke it solid. The local Hospitals cant cope now, so adding maybe 60,000 people to their waiting lists is something only an idiot would do. The only winners in this hair brained scheme will be the partners of Gateway 120. If however, they have the peoples interest at heart as they claim, re route the A120 across open land before it gets to Marks Tey, and build a local Hospital, neither of which they will do as it would detract from their profits which is all they think about.

We do not need this built up area around our village the railway roads and hospitals will not cope the station Carpark cannot cope at the moment
