Put the infrastructure in before the housing - how are the roads,trains,hospitals,doctors & schools going to cope !

there is insufficient infrastructure in the designated area. Valuable farm land will be destroyed which could ultimately lead to the need to import more grain etc.

To many houses already. Don't want them. Or spoil our farm land to much traffic as it is n can't get parking space as it is out side our house.

Why do we need more houses here? There are hundreds of thousands of empty properties around the country. Use them first.

This is a new town. As such it should have every facility a town should have. It has none. I pity those moving in should it go ahead.

This is a ridiculous proposal the train station, A roads, schools, hospitals etc will NOT cope this amount of housing. Build somewhere else!

Cannot believe that this is being contemplated when hospitals, doctors,schools, etc. Are having problems with coping with numbers now! Do not let us lose this chunk of our precious countryside.

It will destroy our ountryside, not enough facilities to cope with this amount of extra people. A12 and A120 simply can not deal with the increased traffic.

The inevitable increase of demand on our existing infrastructure would bring untold damage to the area. It can not cope now! There are many sites across the UK capable of providing affordable housing without destroying the countryside. This is an ill thought out plan in an already poorly provided for area of Essex. The A12 and A120 simply can not cope today, Tiptree has already created increased traffic flows through Kelvedon & Feering, with no improvement to the existing road network. This will just kill village life in Marks Tey and surrounding areas.

What an ill thoughtout plan.......The infrastructure and amenities of the local area would be unable to cope even with your 'planned' improvements. Greedy people wanting to make as much money out of the land without considering the impact. Building as many box houses as possible with postage stamp gardens for children to 'play' in. With an increasing population we should be using it as fam land and with an ever increasing obesity problem provide houses with a good amount of garden space. As for the impact on the A120.....isn't that obvious?!?

Colchester infrastructure is already struggling with the current population and 20000 more homes will have a significant impact on roads, transport and health care

The A120 and A12 are often gridlocked as it is. Schools and NHS services have no more capacity. Car parks are full. The area will become a building site for the next 10 years. This is opportunistic greed from local landowners and another CBC and ECC ill-conceived abomination with no regard to current inhabitants.

The Colchester infrastructure cannot sustain this many new houses. The streets which are already not large enough will struggle to sustain this amount of traffic. There are not enough jobs or schools to support a large number of people into the area either. More houses and facilities should be built further north to help boost the economy. It does not make sense for everything to be in one area of the country. I do not support this idea of creating a Marks Tey town at all.
