The traffic is ridiculous around that area already, our doctors surgeries and schools are at capacityand there are numerous other reasons for this proposed scheme to be one catastrophic mistake!

As a local resident & constructor myself I am totally against a housing development of this scale. Not only can the transport & public services not cope already it will rip out out the heart of the local villages & people who use this beautiful countryside to walk, cycle, run, ride horses it needs to be protected from urban sprawl as not only local people will be affected many others come from afar to use this area. NO!

Absolutely no!! I have lived in this beautiful countryside for 18 years & the thought of having a housing development of this scale is ridiculous! The lanes not even roads could not cope neither could the schools or hospitals. I can only see this benefiting the developers not the local people or amenities.

I am total against this. This whole area is struggling with the demands of the number of people already residing here. Hospitals, schools, stations, and the roads are already a maximum capacity. NO MORE HOUSES!

I won't have places to play, go into town with my friends. Children won't be able to go to schools because of overpopulation. The world won't be nice place to live, no one will want to live in trash.

For this to even be considered ALL major roads around the area need to be upgraded, the hospitals will need expanding, more schools would be needed. All this work needs to be completed BEFORE building takes place. The new area will become slums or benefit city, as there will NOT be enough jobs for the influx of people.

there would be a great loss of walking paths and green countryside for everyone in this area, which has a large commuter population already, with facilities stretched to the limit.

Local services of all kinds: roads (the A120) schools, shops, trains, public transport, doctors, the countryside will all be overwhelmed. Where are the jobs to support this?? Ribbon development will dominate the area from Braintree to Colchester. We need not be 'Nimbys', BUT 20,000 new homes en bloc in this area is too much. A very few landowners will benefit, which is wrong.
