A120 can not cope with this sort of development, just last night driving home to coggeshall from marks they the traffic north bound was queuing from coggeshall to marks they and there were no accidents or hold ups just the sheer volume of traffic

This proposal is far too large.thereis no thought about adequate infrastructure-the additional permanent traffic generated by additional housing will , with other developments in the area swamp any improvements made to the A 120.

Hospitals, schools , and transport are already stretched and are nearly at breaking point.
These developements will break the cohesion we now have.

Whilst I understand that there is a need for more housing, the number of hosing being proposed in this area is totally unrealistic in terms of infrastructure. Not to mention that complete ruination of the current rural environment that we currently enjoy. Why is there so much attention being given to rural development (apart from the greed of landowners) when surely there is plenty of brownfield sites that could be redeveloped? This proposed development is wrong and must not e allowed to be passed in its current format.

Essex does not need another new town. It needs sensitive infill in and around existing towns and villages. This proposal will destroy the very thing that people love about Essex - small villages and the open countryside.

Some of the farmer landowners within this area will make millions of pounds from the sale of land instead of farming!!! We moved from London to lead a better life - we had that for our children, but our great grandchildren will only experience an urban scrawl of housing,

The petition leaflet puts the objections well. I would add the awful disruption during construction together with the added obstructions and danger caused by construction vehicles and machinery on the roads

I'm not against building more homes, they're needed but I'm against building homes without the infrastructure to take them. The local schools, transport, roads, health service etc are not equipped to take any more. When they have been improved then think about putting houses in.

Ridiculous, the infurstructure cannot cope as it is, where are these 50000 extra people going to work and school, the country is crowded as it is, we need some countryside.

All amenities overstretched. A120 unfit for levels of traffic. New housing around Great Leighs and Colchester University would be sensible.

Ludicrous idea hospitals schools and transport infrastructure is inadequate and there doesn't appear to be any suggestion of significant improvement as part of this scheme!

The infastructure in this area is stretched already and won't be able cope with with more developements. The A12 and the A120 are satuated also the A12 is one of the most dangerous roads in Europe as it is now. These issues have to be addressed bedore any further major developements.

It is ridiculous to plan more houses without FIRST planning how people will travel to work, to school, to local shops or how local transport, already overcrowded under funded and poorly managed, will cope!
