I moved here 20 years ago to get away from a busy town I really hope the petition gets the correct response

The infrastructure cannot sustain adevelopment of this size. The loss of valuable farmland is totally unacceptable and the huge number of extra cars on an already over burdened road system is wrong.

Built in the short term large scale developments are the root of many social problems in the long term. Where is the infrastructure for such a scheme?

As anyone that has tried to travel from the Marks Tey/Kelvedon/Feering areas in morning or evening rush hour will tell you there is simply no capacity for development on this scale in the proposed location. The infrastructure simply cannot cope and only the most short sighted or ignorant of planners will believe otherwise. In short, north Essex is full.

Local amenities and transport infrastructure cannot cope with this development

we want to live in the country not in the concrete jungle. Leave our country site alone, no more buildings. Development companies should look on areas where buildings & land stood empty for years, do something with them, leave our green land alone thank you.

We do not have the infrastructure or hospitals/Doctors/schools/public transport for this. Colchester's roads cannot cope now!

With the approved housing development at Tollgate the local roads are already gridlocked. The A12 traffic crawls when there are no accidents the railway is stretched miles of beautiful countryside lost complete no brainer!!

we moved to this area for its rural pace of life and unspoilt countryside.the current infrastructure doesn't support a development of this size and we know from similar development the main priority is how many houses/flats etc can we build to maximise the most profit for the development company.

I chose to live in the country, please keep it that way. No more buildings thank you.

I live in London Road on the border of Stanway and Copford which is the road to Tollgate. Recently the traffic to Tollgate is constantly at a standstill because of the new roundabout through to the Zoo, as cars cut up London Road. To make it worse, many new homes are now being built in London Road near to Tollgate, which probably means we won't be able to get out of our drive with the tailbacks. What are our councils thinking by building even more houses which will bring the whole area to a grinding halt! Also, this is an area with beautiful countryside, which will be a very sad loss, never to be regained.

Both A120 and A12 are already fully congested at Marks Tey. More homes means more cares which will only make the traffic worse. Worse Tendring has been told by government to plan for 10000 more homes which will lead to yet more traffic here.

I live in Copford and the current road congestion around Tollgate, A12 and A120 is terrible as is, we do not need more cars in this area!

We do not have the transport infrastructure to accommodate an operation of this s ale

Unbelievable that local planning can think this is a good idea!!

NO:The infrastructure will not cope with this massive influx of homes.There has been no planning of additional services.

There is not enough roads to support the current rush hour traffic, adding more houses is going to add more stain to the roads which are in an awful state as it is and cause more problems and delays for commuters.

I'm saying NO to the farmland that will be lost forever. Infrastructure will never cope! Can local hospital, GPs and clinics have capacity, they are struggling now!!! No, No, No!

More un though out panic thinking

Stanway is out of control, doing the same to Marks Tey will make current problems worse.
