This proposal is far too large, there is no thought about adequate infrastructure. The additional traffic generated by the new housing will , with other developments in the area (like what is proposed in and around Kelvedon and Feering) will swamp any improvements made to the A 120 and A12, will have to build M12 first.

Quite mad. The infrastructure can not support this size of development, the roads cannot cope, the railways cannot cope and there are no plans to create jobs. With the farmland gone, just where will the food be grown to suopport this number of people.

We already have infrastructure overload. Brown field (ex industrial or docklands) sites in Essex are a positive alternative.

Development no longer evolves, growing with a community and responding to the landscape. Now it devastates it, identikit developments of poorly built developments by over promising and under delivering developers? They infill and suffocate existing settlements. Development even on a mass scale has to respond to the landscape and care for the environment. Weather we all recognise it or not access to and enjoyment of green space, country side is vital to our health. Are we to become a nation of ugly settlements where we exist only and then travel to designated preserved conservation areas and country parks to realise what we have lost and what we actually need? We did enough damage in the post war years. New homes should be build with greater sensitivity, respect for existing character and landscape and attention to detail.

The local infrascture, especially the single-lane A120 and the already packed A12 cannot being to support an increase in population of this size.

I object to this proposal for all the obvious reasons. Lack of facilities,
congestion, shortage of school places, doctors, parking, destruction
of countryside etc. etc. the list is endless...
