There won't be enough services in place to meet this criteria.

Having just moved just outside of marks tey on A120 which is busy enough as it is, am appalled at these proposed new homes. Planned areas include right across the road to us, spoiling the countryside views we have from our windows. Definately a very bad thoughout plan, which should go straight in the BIN!!!

I live on behind Marks Tey Race course and apart from the racecourse being a floodplain, how are all the cars for 1200 houses going to get to the development on the single lane roads around the villages, where will the children go to school, how will the cars get onto the A12 (even with the widening plans first published in 1998), there are limited services here and no gas at all. I have no issue with new houses but I don't understand how this area is a good idea? Infrastructure - infrastructure - Infrastructure.

too many properties to cope with current road structure and will create too large an extra structure for the area. more thought must be given to spreading the load across the Colchester/Braintree areas.

There is flooding here due to lack of good infrastructure at the moment, any new houses will just add to that and make it worse! No to the houses

the local infrastructure cannot cope with this size of development

There is insufficient services to support such a development. The A120 is already overloaded.

The infrastructure today is unable to cope efficiently with the current traffic levels and there is on indication of any additional industry being attracted to the area. This looks like unfettered and unplanned expansion which will bring significant problems to the surrounding area

No proper infrastructure in place, too many new homes in wrong area.

The horror of such a staggeringly gross unsustainable development would be immediate & ruinous wrecking current villagers' lives & their rural landscape. A handful of already-wealthy landowners & developers ruining everyone else's lives.

I agree wholeheartedly with Brian Hall.

I totally disagree with this proposed development plan. The number of houses being planned is frankly ridiculous for the area. I am however in total agreement with the comments which highlight the negative impact this plan will have on the local environment, e.g. more traffic more delays, more pollution, loss of natural habitat. Where are the detail for the infrastructure that will be needed BEFORE any building takes place?
