I am strongly against the development between Marks Tey and Coggeshall. The basic structure ie schools, medical facilities, travel (road or rail) jobs, and infrastructure such as power gas water cannot cope with any expansion.

Too many cars already what will the additional thousands of houses mean to our journey times and to the already polluted atmosphere. It will probably take 2 months before you can see your GP rather than the current 2 weeks!

Our roads A 120 and London Road Copford cannot cope now and so it would be a disaster to build this large a community without putting the road systems in first . School times and office hours already cause grid lock at tollgate roundabout.

The area cannot cope at the moment. Too much traffic, poor roads, overcrowded trains, not enough medical facilities, or schools. We need the infrastructure to be greatly improved before any more building takes place anywhere in the area.

This is not waste land it's used by the community. Build on brownfield sites don't destroy countryside.

As with all new developments in this country there's no new infrastructure - it's just let them join the a12 or the railway to London which are both in a very poor state

Adverts are saying that we need to be able to preserve our wildlife as the countryside is disappearing. Simple do not build these houses as it is not only the wildlife that it will affect but also the beautiful country surroundings

This will destroy the villages to the West of Colchester and ruin the local wildlife habitats. This land will never be recovered once developed.
There is already a mounting issue with traffic in Stanway owing to the additional homes in the old chalk pits and the recently constructed commercial premises at Tolgate.
Please sign to keep our villages as they are and put a stop their obliteration.

Until we get an expanded General Hospital that can cope with Colchester's most recent influx of people, until we get more G.P.s, more schools, more roads, more police, more everything, then No More People! Give us the resources to cope with the recent increase in population, first of all....
