No A120 bypass, no development. Roads are too busy, paths are too narrow - if the infrastructure is not vastly improved prior to any development, it will lead to serious issues and someone will get seriously hurt or die

It makes me sad to think we might lose all our countryside. It’s what keeps me sane seeing all the beautiful wildlife. Why can’t the council just leave things alone. We don’t need more houses there are enough empty houses that could be fixed up and sold. Leave our countryside alone !!!

We don’t have suitable infrastructure. I cycle regularly and notice that local reservoirs are lower than usual, we cannot just keep building for building sakes.

This is going to be a huge fail if the infrastructure issues are not addressed first! Duelling the A120 between Braintree and Marks Tey is so overdue, its a joke. A new junction with the A12 would probably be needed but it's madness to use it as an excuse to reroute the A12, just to build even more homes!

There will not be the infrastructure to support these houses. Doctors hospitals schools and the A120 is totally inadequate for a dormitory town.

More people = more loss of biodiversity, wildlife and more CO2 emissions and air quality issues with commuting and cars. Councils need to stop thinking of money and concentrate on the quality of life for all its existing citizens.

In an age where we need to manage our green spaces with care, love and respect for wildlife and reduction in co2 emissions. This development seams an unsuitable place for an often already conjested area of traffic.
It is not a popular choice for local community living and therefore only seams likely as a soulless commuter corridor leading to further disadvantage as its population would be adding to Co hestiob over busy commute and weekend periods

Having lived close to the proposed area for over 30 years I can say why try and turn it into a town ? It’s a rural ish area, close by to other rural areas, can’t the council understand that sum people like fields, grass and natural things and don’t wanna be surrounded by bricks and mortar ! They are destroying the communities that already exist at the expense of their targets and making money. And don’t give a dam about the people whom grew up there and know no different, why force people to alter their upbringing, bloody idiots !!!

Sooner or later we won't have any green land left as it is our wildlife is on the decline due to construction work taking away their habitat. All the government and local councils are interested in is lining their pockets. The local roads are a disgrace with potholes everywhere and all we get is quick fixes. Concentrate on your communities that are already hear and deliver the infrastructure that is required to get Colchester moving instead of adding more problems to what is already an overly expanded community that is about to burst at the seems NOW!!!!

We talk about the lack of infrastructure. What about the crime rate and lack of policing at the moment will we just magically make this go away too. Colchester is at bursting point as it is we don't want or need another community.

Roads are congested enough. Add on the projected number of extra cars A120 and A12 are going to be at a standstill.
