The decay of the neighborhood begins with one store. There is a Goodwill next to Costo, another one on Sawdust, and Interfaith. Please bring something that will INCREASE the value of our homes.

Better upkeep of the Cochran’s Crossing and Sterling Ridge shopping centers. I do not want Goodwill to lease a space near my home and Collin’s Intermediate School.

Violation of Deed Covenants: The center’s governing documents explicitly require first-class retail tenants, a category businesses like Goodwill and fitness centers do not meet. Also there is economic downside for the centers and community: rather than serving as a revitalizing anchor, a Goodwill, fitness or similar non-first class retail could repel other high-quality tenants and customers. The shopping center’s overall prestige and appeal may fall, which in turn can affect surrounding property values and the quality of life for residents.

I would like to see more research, put into the selection of businesses that lease in these shopping centers.

110 percent against Goodwill and low end (tier) fitness store. Horrible decisions for our local shopping centers.

A Goodwill does not align with the existing purpose, layout, or demographic profile of the shopping center or surrounding community,

Let’s not bring low-tier retail in near high-end subdivisions like Carlton woods. The people in those areas aren’t going to frequent the low-end shops. Put them closer to lower-end subdivisions

Please make sure the tenants going in meet the deed restrictions and needs to the local community. What I am hearing is that this is not the case.

Hoping to keep our sweet neighborhood shopping center safe and upscale. We already have several donation centers within 3 miles of us. Let’s encourage small business that serve our community.
