Stop unwanted leases at Cochran’s Crossing and Sterling Ridge

Do not need this, other similar shops are nearby

The amount we pay in rent and the fees are outrageous. We have noticed low-quality stores coming in, and it affects many of us. We have been leasing with them for years. The building itself is outdated, and that doesn't help much. We are an Aveda Concept Salon, and Regency rented a space in a low-quality salon next door to us that offers $5- $10 Cuts. I'm so glad someone spoke up, because my husband and I have been discussing this for years now. They made us take down Aveda on the front of the store

Terrible Idea.

We choose to live in The Woodlands to be away from the social issues that impact the poorest. My mother declared bankruptcy during my senior year of HS (it was just her and I) so I know relative poverty, with that knowledge I knew I wanted distance from it when I made my own way in life. We choose to reside here to be away from it. The Goodwill store can and should be located elsewhere (suggest the I-45 feeder).

I do not want a goodwill located at Cochrans crossing. Nothing positive or uplifting to the community will happen with its introduction. Shadowbend is already too busy and kids going to the two schools along there are in danger in crossing the streets. We don’t need more traffic in the area. Notoriously, there are items dropped after hours and this community does not need the trash or eye sore that comes from that either. Goodwill would be better situated on the fringe of the community. I did not move to an affluent, high property tax area to have this next door.

These establishments are not targeted and not utilized by the local community

The Cochran's Crossing shopping center is a great asset to our family friendly neighborhood. Putting in a Goodwill collection center will only detract from the shopping center, it will detract from our neighborhood as well. I am sure another and better location can be found. Please don’t allow this to happen

I have lived here my whole life and the krogers served as a beautiful place for my family. There is no need for this to turn into a goodwill. From the areas I have seen that do host this, it will only bring down the value of the community and heighten the foot traffic of outside people who don’t uphold the values of the woodlands community standards. Please do not do this to our lovely quiet family based community.

The Goodwill Center is not needed at Cochran’s Crossing since there are other centers close by.

I am adamantly against putting a Goodwill in that shopping center. Our children are all riding their bikes and skating around there and the parking is already a little bit difficult. This would not be good for our center in our neighborhood.

We need good places not things that will lower the concept and community of The Woodlands. My boys ride there bikes there. Keep the woodlands with more restaurants or useable spaces.

Please bring in something that will bring families/teens to the center!

This is in the middle of a major residential area and is an inappropriate addition to the shopping centers and will have an adverse impact on property values in the area now and in the future.

I prefer to find needed retail stores that add value to the centers. The relative housing values are high enough to warrant comparable retail merchants in these spaces.

Goodwill center should not be in a neighborhood. Stop allowing these leases.

Where are our Township leaders?

I do not want a goodwill in Cochrans Crossing when we have established thrift options that support our community like Interfaith Ministries.

The Goodwill center would be a detriment to the area and is very much unwanted in this location.

It’s time for Regency to care about upkeep of their centers and what the community wants, not just lease money. If they actually tried to attract good tenants, they could.

Goodwill stores are not representative of the first class retail stores that we need in The Woodlands. Please upgrade the shopping centres in The Woodlands to promote better retail and leisure opportunities.
