I started this because I was frustrated by the constant cycle of follows and unfollows but hearing your stories has made me realize how many of you feel the same way. It is honestly overwhelming to see so many people connecting over this and I am just the person who happened to hit the button first. Thank you for showing me that this is actually worth talking about.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the response to this issue because I never imagined so many people felt this same frustration. This entire movement is moving forward only because you chose to pay attention to a problem that many others ignore.

I think something should happed about this promblem. It's been happening to me alot and I end up messaging them saying thanks for the follower and follow them back. But a few days later I see that someone unfolloed me. It makes me feel like that my work isn't that great. I also go and unfollow them. I'm not going to follow someone that does that. I has also happend to my friends too.
I honestly hate it myself, I know I don't follow everybody back but really if you chat with me and read my book, then I follow you back. I don't expect you to just unfollow me because you got bored of my account or something, if I do something you don't like just tell me!
Yeah. I hate it when people follow and then unfollow. It makes you think, what did you do that made them unfollow you. It's actually difficult to pinpoint who unfollowed you if you have thousands of followers. I wish wattpad also send a notif if somebody unfollows.
I wish there was a way to find out who unfollowed you because I follow everyone back and as of now I have 450 followers but I can't figure out the 15 people I followed who no followed a few days after.
Some girl followed me then unfollowed me.. After I unfollowed her she had the guts to ask me to check out her story.. It kinda made me sick.. :/

I'm sick and tired of this, this one person unfollowed me like ig this morning and I just reached 74 followers. They kept following and unfollowing and it got annoying, I even thought about muting them but that would be rude.
