"Rape's not something where you just go, "Well, get over it" or "Believe in love and peace, my child, and it'll all be over."
I personally believe that any rape victim would be disgusted to see that people are writing about girls falling in love with their rapist. Many, many rape victims across the globe are physically and mentally scarred and haunted by their experiences of rape, despite being survivors and being strong about it, the fear and the memories will always be there.
Rape is not beautiful, it's horrific and no one should go through it ever.
No one should be writing about it as if it's the freaking Notebook.
Sign this petition today in a fight against these sort of stories and bring justice to the SURVIVORS of rape! The aim of this little project is to bring awareness not only to the users of Wattpad but Wattpad themselves. These sorts of stories NEED to be taken down and need to be filtered and reported more.

I'm glad we're finally doing something about this! Rape is not a beautiful thing and stories like this are insulting to rape victims.
Please sign + even go through Wattpad fanfictions and report stories of the like!

its honestly so gross how people romanticize this stuff for views. wattpad needs to fix their guidelines because this is just glorified abuse.
The concept of falling in love with your rapist just repulses me. Thank you for doing this and bringing light to the truth about rape.

It's not even as if they're writing stories about Stockholm Syndrome. Those stories are actually realistic and a lot of victims have gone through it but these little kids are actually fantasizing about it...it's disrespectful
