I have been spending my nights reviewing the list of potential appointees and the conflicts of interest are even worse than I first imagined. My inbox is filled with messages from people who are deeply worried about what this means for our future. I am currently reaching out to Senator Scott's office to ensure he understands exactly how many of us reject these appointments.

I have attended public schools my entire life, and believe they offer the best options for serving all students. I ask you to vote NO on the appointment of Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education. Thank you.
As a democratic I voted for you! I crossed my party line because I had hoped you would be honest and stand up for the people of SC, not just the Republican Party! I see now I made a terrible mistake. I know what my vote will be next time. Stand for the people not just your party. I am very disappointed
I am a registered voter in Mount Pleasant, SC and do NOT support the approval of Betsy DeVos as well as most of Trumps's other cabinet nominees who are not only inexperienced, but have questionable monetary and business connections within their areas of appointment. SC is awake and will remember who votes for whom on the appointees. Please don't let us down
NO on DeVos! We need someone who will SUPPORT our public schools! NO on Price! We cannot have a science denier/anti-vaccine person head of HHS
Please recuse yourself from Ms DeVos's confirmation vote due to her donation to your campaign. And please vote against Sen Sessions's nomination.
Trump is the swamp and he's filled the White House with a swamp cabinet. You'd have to be blind not to see what he's doing. It's play for pay with this liar.

I vote in Summerville, SC and actually voted for you. Watching to see if you stand up to this administration and its many wrongs. Your joint statement with Sen. Rubio was encouraging, although ambiguous. I oppose the nomination of DeVos, Tillerson and Sessions.
