This petition represents the beliefs of 350 Columbia, an environmental action group spearheading the growing movement of active, concerned South Carolina citizens. Together, we are committed to fighting policies that contribute to global climate change and environmental degradation both locally and nationally. President-Elect Trump's cabinet nominees represent the worst of these dangerous policies. The United States cannot afford to be governed for four years by multinational oil company representatives and climate change skeptics.
Unlike many in the Republican Party, you have stood up for your values in the face of Mr. Trump’s rise to power, speaking out against his endorsement of policies that would put the American people at risk. His nomination of climate change deniers to the very agencies tasked with defending our land, resources, and ecosystems represents yet another dangerous political decision—one that affects us all. We urge you to continue your expression of political principle by taking a stand against the most dangerous of Mr. Trump's Cabinet nominees:
- Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon, for Secretary of State
- Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator
- Ex-Gov. Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy
- Rep. Ryan Zinke for Department of Interior

The momentum behind this petition is growing and it reflects the genuine anxiety many of us feel about these appointments. This work is draining but seeing this level of concern confirms that we have to keep pushing pressure onto the Senator.

I have been impressed by your/Sen. Graham's measured and thoughtful responses to recent discussions on policy.
As a concerned and involved voter, please give careful consideration to the cabinet appointees. Their power will effect us and our children for generations.
