Dear Sir or Madame,
Living in the fourth Ward in Charlotte is really nice, isn't it?
There is just one thing that really needs to be improved in terms of quality of life.
It is incredible annoying when the trains honk their horns especially in the evening, at night and early morning.
If we find ways to avoid this it will have a dramatic effect on the quality of life in downtown Charlotte.
People will sleep better, have less stress, will be more productive and will be less sick.
Therefore, I would appreciate to get the support from you regarding this matter.

The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the local transit authority next week. We are now preparing specific documentation detailing the night noise complaints to present during this session.

Perfect example of an archaic "safety" law. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
It gets me when they hold on the horn (it almost seems like theyre trying to irritate)

Living right by the tracks is a nightmare with the constant blasting at 3am. Need some peace in uptown!
