LET US GO BACK TO CLASS!!
We Would like to inform the senate that we do not want the classes to get cancelled
Unit 1 and 3 of CUPE 3903 at York University have continuously refused to reach any fair deals with the university. The latest of which; offered a minimum pay of 52 dollars an hour, tuition freezes, 4.5% wage increase for three years, 4 to 5 months of healthcare coverage AFTER the employment contract is over, $317 000 for child care, a 28% increase for Summer Graduate assistance, various LGBTQ funds and equity provisions. Among many more other similar offers.
This petition is made with a goal to fight against CUPE 3903 and their greedy attempts to stall our education any further. Many of us have summer plans, and this strike costs us large sums of money. Whether it is due to international student fees, work/internship plans or graduation, the strike has brought nothing but uncertanity and annoyance to every student.
By signing this petition you are expressing your support against the current CUPE strike.

we need you to fight the strike. alone nothing but together anything and everything.
I wish for classes to resume. Although there is a petition with around 5.2k to stop classes, I will not support this. There are tens of thousands of students who are even more affected if they cannot complete their courses on time. People have flights booked out of the country. Others have summer internships starting at the beginning of may and any time lost is money lost for them. Others may need to apply for graduate studies. Many others have full-time jobs that are contingent upon them getting the remaining amount of credits in the summer before they can start. If you cancel the class, it will lead to much more disaster.
Strike the strike.
PLEASE KEEP CLASSES RUNNING! WE WANT TO GRANITE!
Enough is enough. Let us go back to class..

As a mom of tree students, I am begging you please, resume classes !, Stop COPE and fire all who supported them. We are average Canadians suffering from CUPE
