The smell of smoke permeates Sheri's Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. You can smell it in the hallways, the rooms, the bungalows, and especially the bar. It creates an unhealthy environment for the staff, the patrons, and especially the women who are exposed to this health hazard for extended periods of time.
The dangers of secondhand smoke (see http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/data_statistics/fact_sheets/secondhand_smoke/general_facts/) are well-known. For a place that prides itself on how safe it is (mandatory prophylactic use and regular health checks for STDs), how can it ignore something that will negatively impact everyone who enters through its doors? Employees as well as patrons have complained about it, but Sheri's owner, Chuck Lee, has yet to do anything about it.
Not only does secondhand smoke affect the well-being of the people at Sheri's, but it also affects its bottom line. There are regular patrons who have decided not to return to the ranch until the smoky odor is gone. For first time potential customers who don't smoke, their first impression of the place is soured when they open the door and walk into the bar, as they are nasally assaulted by that smoke.
Please sign and share this petition with the hopes that the owner and management at Sheri's will see how important addressing this problem is. It's bad for everyone's health and it's bad for Sheri's business. People who want to smoke should be required to do so outside. This is not an abnormal restriction as most other places in the U.S. have this same rule.

I checked my inbox again and people keep mentioning that heavy smell in the hallway which just proves I am not the only one gasping for air when I walk through those doors. I have been putting together a list of these complaints to show Chuck that we are actually serious about our health and honestly I am just waiting for the right moment to drop it on his desk because he needs to listen.

Seeing this kind of energy building up is honestly surreal because I honestly thought I was just shouting into the void when I first typed this out. It really proves that everyone is just as fed up with the air quality as I am (seriously it is just common sense to want to breathe clean air) and I am genuinely energized to keep pushing this forward now.

We were just there last week; the smoking in the buildings definitely detracts from the experience. Once you do end indoor smoking, you're going to be amazed at how quickly it becomes a better place to be. They banned indoor smoking a long time ago where I'm from; a few people complained, but none of them actually stopped being patrons. Besides, let's be honest here, customers don't come to Sheri's to have someplace air conditioned to smoke.
I'm a repeat customer at Sheri's; I also worked on OSHA's Indoor Air Quality Act back in the 1990's and reviewed all of the clinical evidence behind the risks secondhand smoke. I support the health of the non-smoking staffers at the Ranch.

The smell really determined the atmosphere. For me, Sherri's would be a more enjoyable experience if it weren't for the stench.
Maybe patrons can blow smoke up the hookers butts? Most of them do anyway.

Having seen some of the truly beautiful women at Sheri's I am super interested in cumming for a visit. BUT NOT AFTER SEEING THIS!!!!!!!! I am very bothered by cigarette smoke and thus will not be visiting Sheri's until it becomes SMOKE FREE! This is the 21st Century. We know the awful health affects 2nd hand smoke has. DUMP IT NOW

I forgot to add that the Mustang Ranch is 100% smoke free. It's very nice to enjoy a meal there and speak with a lady without choking on second hand smoke. I've had many ladies comment to me that they appreciate being able to smell "pretty" after taking time to get ready, to look and smell nice.
