Royal Oaks pride and heart were ripped out back in 1985 when it was closed to combine Royal Oak and Charter Oak. Royal Oak has always been the nicer and newer school that was never completed. Leave the school alone and let our children attend the pride of the Charter Oak school district Long Live THE ROMANS !!!

Why the rush to approve? If there is money from bonds for improvements, no need to sell off land and have a dramatic impact on the local community.

Use the current bond money to improve ROMS. Leave the green space for our youth of today and tomorrow. Progress and improvements are needed as demonstrated tonight. There was not enough notice for the Community to understand the plan and voice valid concerns. Put this proposal on hold until an environmental impact is prepared.

Only one community meeting the night before the Board votes on this is ludicrous! So many people who showed up at tonight’s community meeting had so many unanswered questions and concerns. There should be several community meetings, with plenty of broad advance notice to the general community, so the Board can receive adequate input and make an informed decision on this. The Board is made up of elected members who are not serving their constituents by ramrodding this issue through without proper input from their constituents. This matter should be tabled and rescheduled after several community meetings are held. If not, each member should be voted out of office for derelict of their duties!

Why spend it at royal oak. It’s one of the new schools and not all the rooms are used. Use them! Make all the COUSD schools better and show the community what the money is doing for all the schools. Not just for one school

I am a resident of Charter Oak district and my kids play at AYSO Region #602. I am opposed to the sale of any part of Royal Oak Middle School or the surrounding area. Let's keep the properties for our children!
