These fields are a vital resource to both Covina and Charter oak youth sports programs. Furthermore, it has been proven that children that are involved in after school activities such as baseball/softball, soccer, and many other activities helps to keep kids off the streets and out of trouble. If we loose these fields families in our surrounding cities may be impacted negatively when it comes to parents interacting with their young ones.

Ayso and Charter Oak baseball use the fields for sports. Where are the kids going to be able to play and practice if you take this away. If sold and low income housing move in the city and schools will become over crowded and crime will increase. There are already to many zombies roaming the streets, sleeping in our parks and breaking into cars. Low income housing brings a lower class of citizens.

We need more parks and areas where kids can play and be active, not more houses and development.

We need this green field for our children. Why is this happening without our community knowing about it until the 11th hour. This will not benefit our community and our children will be negatively impacted.
