Back to school will only mean "wildfire" spread. It will defeat the efforts of the lockdown. And let's be honest.... The children will most likely recover. But almost all of them will take this home to their parents and grandparents... The old and sick. Aren't we trying to protect them in all of this?

Social distancing is a problem at school, especially the public schools where kids from different areas are attending the school. What happens about the toilets? Are you employing more staff to keep after every kid visits the toilet. Can teachers not print out the work, the parents can pick up & hand to the kids to complete especially those kids without modern technology.

Schools are not prepared to the handle the thousands of children that will attend schools on a daily basis, educators themselves lack the necessary safety equipment needed for daily use in order to come into contact with more that 500 individuals arriving from 500 different areas which we have no knowledge of what their contexts are. Additionally water and sanitation has been an on going struggle without the virus now with social distancing how are learners going to manage especially at those schools that are still using the pit laterine system and have no proper water facilities. I strongly believe that whatever the decision is, it needs to be one that is fair on both the educators and learners. Primary school learners are aged between 5 and 13 their immune systems are not strong enough to handle any exposure to any viruses. Schools should open only when it is safe to put a 5 year old out of their home context and allow them to come into contact with various other members that come from different communities.

Children should not go to school now how can they practice social distancing with 45 children in the class. It's a no no for me definitely not any time soon. Lives are more important.

Too soon . Have not reached our peak yet. Winter is approaching that means it's high flu season. Parents will have to leave their little ones unattended at home becos of phased in approach. Taxi operators will not adhere to rules. No social distancing on playing fields can be ensured. 40 in a class. Dept is just not ready.#lives matter

I think that we should even bet on the lives of the children of our country, further precautions need to be taken ahead of them returning to schools, home schooling should be widely considered, for the matrics, maybe they should only report to school upon proper structuring by the schools to portray social distancing at the largest extent to write their important examinations.
