NO to re-opening of our schools Children are not part of essential services that will assist our countries finances. Children are meant to be protected the virus kills.

I think this decision needs to be re evaluated, kids are not mature enough to practice social distance and proper hygiene

I have a child in grade 5 and for them at that young age to have to take the necessary precautions that they aren’t used to cannot be expected of kids that age.

Better to lose a year than lose our children. The safety of our children must be most important. To put it crudely for parents emotionally and reality speaking.. .. An uneducated living child is better than an educated but deceased child. We will still have a chance to educate and train our children.

If we as adults cannot gather in groups how is it safe then for our kids to be filled in tight spaces in a little classroom?

It's totally unsafe for our kids to be going to school, when the number of cases and deaths are just increasing drastically! It's a big NO frm my family and I.... AND IT'S A BIG UNFAIR AS TO WHY SCHOOL KIDS SHULD BE GOING TO SCHOOL WHEN MOST FACTORIES CAN'T BE GOING TO WRK, SALONS AND CHURCHES HAVE BEEN CLOSED.. OUR KIDS SPEND MOST OF THE TIME AT SCHOOL FRM 8 TILL 14:00 WHERE AS IN A SALON YOU SPEND LESS THAN AN HOUR, CHURCH YOU SPEND MOST TWO HOURS.. AS FOR FACTORIES AND OTHER BUSINESSES THEY WRK FRM 8 TO 5PM TO MAKE A LIVING.. WITH NO SORT OF INCOME HOW IS THE TRANSPORTATION OF KIDS AND SCHOOL FEES BE PAID???

A safer model/idea on how schools proceed needs to be looked-at. It's a worry especially with large classrooms to social distance, let alone those that come from townships where little or no social distancing takes place.

I agree that our children's health is at risk if they are to return to school while the virus is still affecting our nation currently. Our children should not return to school until the virus has passed.
