if adults cannot be trusted to return to work, how is it possible to trust children to to be responsible to return to school and that to with more than 50 people in one place..

My fear is that if health care workers cannot protect themselves from this, how are we supposed to force children to practice social distancing. Their entire lives are based on physical touch to stimulate learning and creating bonds. They grow up sharing everything, from their stationary, lunch, juice bottles to hugs of friendship. This is not the time to reopen school. Our learners come from homes and communities that are overcrowded, should this virus make its way to these homes it'll spread tenfold. I fear for myself and my infant if I have to return to the classroom. Please rethink this decision. May God give you wisdom.

I'm not happy with my child going back right now I can't understand that I can't go back to work but my child has to be exposed to this disease

Teachers can put the daily work on WhatsApp and forward to the parents as every parent has a mobile. This will enable the child to complete the term work without going to school and being at risk. Also, the child can complete the year without having to repeat the grade. Parents know each other so we can pass on learning material as well.

I have grandkids and if it's not safe for the elderly to go out then the same rule applies to kids as their immune system will not fight this virus i cannot understand how the president can allow the, schools to be open right now, when we are about to emter the most dangerous level of this virus.

I dont want my child going to back to school while we facing this pandemic and will be at home. Kids immune system are not strong enough to fight this virus. I can not sit at home and allow my child 2 be at risk outside knowing its a risk.
