The Marysville School district’s administration has overstepped their authority. Mandates in our schools have gone beyond what is required by MDHHS, this includes on-going contact tracing and quarantines, and extracurricular activity Covid testing. These mandates were made without the approval of the school board. These are just a few examples of how Wightman has ignored the parents and put his personal relationship with the Health Dept. over the best interests of the students. We DO NOT want this tyranny to continue. By not renewing the current Marysville Superintendent contract, we hope to regain our voices and control of the school board.

Enough is enough. These rules are hurting our kids and we need someone in charge who actually listens to the families living here.
Wightman works for US not the health department. Get him out.
