The trees are nice, give the area character and shouldn’t be replaced by an unwanted cycle path

A complete waste of our council tax,
We already have a high volume of traffic. Very rarely see any cyclists. Whoever made this decision needs to explain why it is necessary. Not needed

Cycle lane not needed.
Traffic through Stamford ham road is already at breaking point due to all the new callerton area houses without proper infrastructure.

Disgraceful, there's no room.
They want to chop down trees to replace them with a cycle lane make no sence.
With an already shockingly placed "bus lane" that probably not even the length of a bus, it feels like they are causing congestion on purpose

It is a total waste of money to construct a short cycle lane such as this anothe ludicrous scheme. My husband who is a keen cyclist finds these type of cycle lanes create more problems for cyclists when rejoining the main carriageway. Do the Council know how many cyclists are in the Westerhope area? They should be spending money improving the traffic congestion created by the amount of new housing in the area & have totally underestiminated the impact this would have on the village but they probably don't care.
Please do not cut down the trees!
I oppose the cycle lane
