These cycle lanes just increase road congestion and are totally unecessary as few cyclists actually use them. I drive for work and every one of these I come across has no-one in it cycle or otherwise.

There really is no need for a cycle lane through Westerhope. The roads are narrow as it is and loads of traffic coming through, I never ever see a cyclists on the roads here.

The road is bad enough as it is with traffic in rush hour let alone between rush hour times. A cycle lane added into the ridiculously already narrow road anyway is going to cause mayhem?! Which absolute moron councillor decided to come up with this scheme?!
