Stop the proposed cycle lane on Stamfordham road

No cycle lane on Stamfordham Road.

I strongly oppose the plan for the cycle lane

Look at gosforth no one uses the cycle lane, waste of money. A lot of cyclists are to blame for accidents, they feel they own the roads. Charge them road tax like us car drivers have to pay.

Not needed waist of money

I think this is not appropriate in Westerhope. The congestion since the new housing is awful at all times of the day. This will be dangerous.

Leaf the trees alone

Totally unnecessary use of tax payers money and an eyesore

Cycles are not taxed like other car users are

Another cycle lane is a disaster. Will create more traffic chaos.

Traffic is bad enough without a cycle lane. I mean how many bikes really go up and down that road?

There’s hardly enough room for cars let alone bikes. Get the potholes fixed before spending on new things

I don’t think this is the best use for the money it would cost. More needs to be spent on improving the infrastructure to get cars moving during the rush hours.
