I oppose the fool hardy and I'll thought scheme. Surely money can be better spent on more pressing issues, such as better transport links better roads, pavements, and in general a good clean up.

I’m sure the money could be spent elsewhere don’t take the trees out they are lovely can you remember when Westerhope was part of Britain in Bloom. It’s a pretty village and cycle lanes and your plans would spoil this.

Removing trees which absorb carbon dioxide is no more than eco vandalism and will have a negative impact on the cities net zero plans

I think the loss of so many trees will have a negative impact on the environment. These cycle routes are hardly used in other parts of the city.

There is no need for this cycle lane, it will spoil the area in the village and no doubt cause even more traffic congestion, I walk past there quite often, not many cyclists around.

I live in Westerhope and am a cyclist but oppose the proposed cycle lane, the destruction of the path, or the removal of the trees through the village.

Congestion has already increased on this road due to the number of new houses that have and are continuing to be built in the area. This proposal would further excerbate the problem.

If true, I cannot comprehend the absurdity of the plan. A total disregard to the environment and visual amenity as usual.
We do not need a cycle path
Road is already too busy
