It's a ridiculous proposal,as previously stated the infrastructure as never been improved for the additional traffic with housebuilding still on going.

We do not need a cycle lane i believe very little would use it and traffic is already a struggle through the area

The proposed plans for a cycle lane will only add to the congestion problems on Stamford Road caused by the excessive over building in Callerton. Why can't Newcastle council do something positive for the residence for a change.

Totally against this project as it will destroy the character of the village for the sake of an unnecessary cycle lane.

I do not approve of mature trees being felled just because the council think everyone wants to cycle round Westerhope or use a cycle instead of the bus not a good use of public funds

Stop the proposed cycle lane on Stamfordham Road. This road is congested enough with all the new housing estates that have been built and also because there always seems to be one or another digging up some part of it causing more disruption and tailbacks.

Stamfordham road is a nightmare when busy to start with and even worse when there’s temp lights on that road installing a cycle lane will make things worse and an absolute waste of money the people of Westerhope don’t want this to happen
