We do not need anymore Cycle lanes that are never used and cost a fortune. Money should go on improving the road infrastructure we already have as there are constant queues already. Too many cars and not enough road without taking more away for cyclists.

Already massively congested, any form of road works and the area grinds to a hault, leave the place alone, handful of bikes would actually use this lane

This proposed cycle lane runs in front of my house and would mean knocking down a stone wall which is a focal point in Westerhope as well as the trees which line the Road

Westerhope is gridlocked by heavy congestion caused by too many housing developments. No cycle lanes please!

What a waste of money from some of the highest council tax payers in the City. This is not required and will exacerbate the already congestion in the village created by the increased housing in the area. What a crazy council proposal and very badly through.

A ridiculous was of council tax/tax payers money. Have you seen the abortion in Hexham. I drive to Hexham daily and see a handful of cyclist using the actual roadway, where did they get their statistics warranting such a waste of money. Better spent on repairing potholes.
