Absolutely crazy in the current climate to be removing healthy mature trees for a cycle lane that nobody will use!

A beautiful village, the road is already very busy, take away the trees and grassy verges, it will feel like a B/A road running through a village, this is used buy all the residents old and very young, its very hard to cross at certain times of the day…….its a stupid idea!!!

We do not need nor want a cycle lane. The road is busy enough without arrogant cyclists who pay no insurance or tax to use the roads the rest of us pay for.

E don’t need a cycle lane to further congest the roads through Westerhope. It will only be used by a handful of cyclists.

I strongly oppose the proposals. There must be better and more cost efficient ways to spend this money that would be of benefit the community.
