There’s no need for a cycle lane at that stretch of road, and we should not be sacrificing Trees. We need to keep as many trees as possible to help keep area cool and contribute towards environment.

More taxpayer’s money thrown onto the vanity projects that residents oppose for net zero. Empty cycle lanes are a menace making vehicle travel more dangerous.

Not enough space for cars never mind trying to make room for cycle lanes. When new house builds at callerton were granted, the road infrastructure was supposed to be improved before they were built with a new access road to the A69 to be built to reduce traffic in westerhope. None of this has been done.

Trees are vital in improving the environment in general, but even more so in urban and suburban areas. Cutting down trees damages that environment and, hence, the people, and especially the children and elderly, who live or pass through that area.

We do not need another cycle lane that will cause untold disruption, take another piece of green space and fast forward us to another concrete jungle.

Retaining established trees provides critical environmental, community, and economic benefits that far outweigh the temporary convenience of clearing them.

Not worth the months of travel disruption for a cycle lane that 6 people will use save the trees and don’t waste the money to rip them out for a pointless cycle lane

There arent enough cyclists to make it cost effective spending all this time and money. The number of times i have pulled up to traffic lights and stopped short of the cycle only section, NEVER had a cyclist next to me. Ever.

After living in and around westerhope all my life there has never been a need to rid the place of its natural beauty to allow a more pointless use of space and money
