Trees and wildlife are more important. The birds trees and wildlife are appreciated daily. As for bike lanes, if other bike lanes in the region are anything to go by they will be barely used. Please reconsider before it’s too late.

There isn’t the need for a cycle lane here. Please don’t cut down the lovely trees that make this such a nice place to live.

These trees have been in our village for over 40years they add to the beauty of the village & in today’s poor climate cutting down trees should be a crime.
We DO NOT need another cycle lane

The trees have been there since I was little and I am 71. It's not a cycle lane we need it is traffic calming. Since the new estates were built beside the Jingling Gate the traffic in Westerhope is absolutely horrendous.

A typical move by the Council why do we need to cut down mature trees to make way for a cycle lane that will not benefit the majority of road users. Spend the money on potholes and road markings

With the climate crisis we are heading for, we need all the trees we have. We can have cycle lanes where they don't need to remove trees.

Because it’s simply unneeded, the only cycling done is the toerags on the electric bikes flying down the middle of the road and they won’t use it !!
